I took this the last time the Aquabats played in Leeds, which at this point is a few days over 4 years ago. We went for my 19th birthday. Yikes.
I’m seeing the Aquabats again tonight. None of the people I went with last time are coming this time. One of them almost did but she forgot to buy a ticket because she’s a proper idiot.
This was a ridiculously fun show. Hopefully tonight will be as fun. Everything in my life is really different compared to 2009 and that’s a good thing in pretty much every way but still, I don’t get as excited about things now as I did then. Though if there’s any band who can make me feel a few years younger, it’ll be the Aquabats!
